AUTUMN


This tutorial assumes you have a working knowledge of PSP
It was written using PSP 9 but can be done in other versions.
I only write tutorials as a guide. What YOU do with them is up to your imagination.

Eye Candy 4000-HSB Noise

Step 1-
Open your tubes, pick a light foreground color-I used #ffbd5d and
a darker background color-I used-#a94301
Change your foreground color to Gradient-
Angle= 45, Repeats= 0, Linear

Step2-
File/New/Open/900X600/Transparent
Floodfill with your foreground gradient
Effects/Texture Effects/Texture/winni.texture.042, see settings below-


Size= 25%, Smoothness= 0, Depth= 1, Ambience= 0, Shininess= 0
Color= white, Angle= 315, Intesity= 50, Elevation= 30


Step 3-
Maximize image A-38
Edit/Copy/Close Original
Edit/Paste/Paste As New Layer
With the Move Tool, position the tree to the top left side of the canvas.

Effects/3D Effects/Drop Shadow-see settings below-


V= 2, H= 2, Opacity= 50, Blur= 5, color= Black


Step 4-
Maximize image A-68
Edit/Copy/Close Original
Edit/Paste/Paste As New Layer
Image/Resize/75%/ Resize All Layers UNchecked
With the Move Tool, position the fairy near the bottom right side of the canvas.
See my tag above for an example.
Effects/3D Effects/Drop Shadow-same settings as in Step 3


Step 5-
Maximize image A-45
Edit/Copy/Close Original
Edit/Paste/Paste As New Layer
With the Move Tool, position the flowers at the bottom left side of the canvas.
Effects/3D Effects/Drop Shadow-same settings as in Step 3
Layers/Duplicate
Image/Mirror
Layers/Merge/Merge Down


Step 6-
Maximize image A-79
Edit/Copy/Close Original
Edit/Paste/Paste As New Layer
Image/Resize/75%/Resize All Layers UNchecked
With the Move Tool, position the wheelbarrel at the bottom left side of the canvas


Step 7-
Maximize image A-57
Edit/Copy/Close Original
Edit/Paste/Paste As New Layer
With the Move Tool, move the scarecrow to the right just a little

Effects/3D Effects/Drop Shadow-same settings as in Step 3


Step 8-
Maximize image A-33
Edit/Copy/Close Original
Edit/Paste/Paste As New Layer
With the Move Tool, move the Wordart to the upper right corner of the canvas

Effects/3D Effects/Drop Shadow-same settings as in Step 3


Step 9-
Layers/Merge/Merge All Flatten
Image/Rezize/65%/Resize All Layers Checked
Adjust/Sharpen/Unsharp Mask-
Radius= 5, Strength= 10, Clipping= 5, Luminance only= Unchecked


Step 10-
Layers/New Raster Layer
Add your copyrights and text
Layers/Merge/Merge Down
Selections/Select All
Image/Add Borders/See settings below-


Symmetric Checked/15 Pixels/Color= Background color-I used #ffbd5d

Step 11-
Selections/Invert
Layers/New Raster Layer
Maximize A-P4
Edit/Copy/Close Original
Edit/Paste/Paste Into Selection
Leave Selected


Step 12-
Effects/3D  Effects/Drop Shadow
Change V & H= 9, Opacity= 100, Blur= 20, Black
Repeat Drop Shadow but change V & H to minus 9 (-9)
Layers/Duplicate, two more times ( for a total of 3 layers)
Selections/Select None


Step 13-
Highlight the top border layer, and Close off the two lower border layers
(optional, on this step you can instead use Adjust/Add/Remove Noise/Add Noise, & your preferred settings)
Effects/Plugins/Eye Candy 4000/HSB Noise, see the settings below-



Step 14-
Close this layer, open and activate the 2nd border layer in your layer palette
Effects/Plugins/Eye Candy 4000/HSB Noise,Same settings as in Step 13 / Press 1x random seed
Close this layer and activate and open the first border layer
Effects/Plugins/Eye Candy 4000/HSB Noise,Same settings as in Step 13 / Press 1x random seed
Close this layer again


Step 15-
Go back to the top layer, open and activate
(Make sure the lower 2 border layers are still closed off)
Edit/Copy Merged
Open Animation Shop


Step 16-
Go back to Paint Shop Pro
Close off the top layer
Open and activate the 2nd border layer
Edit/Copy Merged
Back in Animation Shop
Edit/Paste After Current Frame


Step 17-
Go back to Paint Shop Pro
Close off the middle boder layer
Open and activate the 1st border layer
Edit/Copy Merged
Back in Animation Shop
Edit/Paste After Current Frame


Step 18-
You should have 3 frames now
Edit/Select All
Animaion/Frame Properities/10
View/Animation
File/Save as a Gif File to your designated folder.
